Sketch sounds as one-line array-language formulas and hear them, with a graph of each waveform

ksynth

Hacker News · New

by Joseph Stewart

A browser live-coding synth where a terse K/APL-style language defines waveforms, with 16 pads, a patch library of bells, drums and DW-8000 style voices, and a waveform graph for any variable. You can save patches and snapshots.

Notes

Aimed at people comfortable with code or array languages; there is a guide and reference but no GUI knobs. Maker says in the HN post he used AI agents to bootstrap the parser and web page; the page names no tool.
